Not yet. The app is finished and in testing, and it is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play, where it is listed as GeoTrackMe: Location Sharing. This site, the user agreement, the privacy policy and the account deletion tools are live already, so you can read every term before anything ships.

No. Sharing begins only after you accept a request, and it continues only while your sharing switch is on. There is no way to look somebody up by email or phone number and start following them — the only route in is an invite code that you hand out yourself, and that you can replace at any time.

No. Your coordinates are encrypted on your device before they are uploaded, and the key is wrapped individually for each device of each person you approved. What reaches the server is ciphertext, so whoever operates the service — us included — cannot read it.

No. Only your most recent position is stored, and every update overwrites the previous one. There is no trail to browse, export, hand over or lose.

You disappear from every map immediately, and your last known position is removed rather than left frozen where you were. Turning the switch back on starts you from wherever you are then.

Pause them from your list. They stay a friend, they simply stop seeing you, and nobody else on your list is affected or notified. Removing them entirely is also one tap.

No, and that is deliberate. Accepting somebody lets them see you; it does not put them on your map. If you both want to see each other, you each send an invitation using the other person's code. Two invitations, two approvals — so nobody can be followed by a person they never invited.

Because a password we never hold is a password that cannot leak from us. Google Sign-In is the only method, and your email address is used to identify your account — never as a way for other people to find you.

Generate a new one. The old code stops working immediately, and anybody who tries it gets nowhere. People already on your list are unaffected, because they were approved individually rather than by the code.

That is mostly your choice. The update interval can be set to 5 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes or 10 minutes, and moving from 5 seconds to 1 minute cuts the number of location fixes by a factor of twelve. For all-day reassurance, 5 or 10 minutes is usually plenty.

Yes, provided you grant background location access — Always on iPhone, All the time on Android. Without it, sharing would stop the moment your screen went dark, which would defeat the purpose.

Yes. Both apps use the same accounts and the same encrypted format, so an iPhone and an Android phone can follow each other in either direction with no difference in what they see.

Yes, to download and to use. The free tier shows ads and lets one person follow you. Paid tiers raise that limit to 3, 5 or unlimited and remove the ads; there is also a family option covering up to 6 members. Prices will be published when the app goes live.

No. Sending is always free and unlimited. The limit is checked at the moment you accept somebody, so you are never blocked from letting a family member see you.

No. A nickname or photo you give a friend is stored on your own device only. It changes how they appear to you and to nobody else, and it is never uploaded.

From the app's settings, or from the web without installing anything: delete my account removes your profile, your position and your invite code permanently, while delete my data clears your data but keeps the account.
